Fingerprint reader and HID iCLASS/Mifare/EM reader for use with Matrix access controllers.
The COSEC PATH RDFI is a fingerprint and multi-card technology reader, supporting HID iCLASS, HID Prox, EM Prox and Mifare (CSN Read), making it suitable for installations that require high compatibility with corporate card standards and advanced biometric authentication. It supports up to 25,000 fingerprint templates and communicates via RS-232 or RS-485 with Matrix controllers. The device features an IP65 protection rating and tamper detection, offering resistance to dust, moisture and protection against unauthorized interference. The tri-color LED and buzzer provide clear visual and audible confirmation. Power is supplied via 12VDC from the controller or an external source. The device is suitable for projects that require high compatibility with multiple card technologies and biometric authentication without the need for local user storage.
